Cladding Panels

About our Cladding Panels

We produce beautiful cladding panels from both our Aqua Grantique and Cambrian Cream materials.

The three thicknesses we offer are 3 cm, 2 ¼”, and 3 ½”.

The Cambrian Cream surface textures are available in shot-blast, thermal, brushed, honed, and polished, and several options in corduroy. The thermal texture can pull a crimson, rose color from the magnesium mineral within the stone, which is unavoidable.

The Aqua Grantique surface textures are available in shot-blast, brushed, honed, polished, and several options in corduroy. Please Note: We can not thermal Aqua Grantique™, nor can we rock-face the Aqua.

Our stone slabs are not gauged; there is a +/- 1/8” in the 3 cm and 2 ¼” and +/- ¼” in the 3 ½”. Surface textures can also change the +/- variance in the stone.

Anchoring options include linear kerf, dowel holes, or slots. Take-offs, cut sheets, shop drawings, quirk/miter corners, or finished edges are additional.

Since 2020 we have been in areas of the quarry which do not yield large format pieces. Our slabs are large, but some natural seams and fissures do not allow large format pieces due to the formation. The best size is 15” x 30” in any of our standard thicknesses at the current production time. We know that this issue will become less in the future, and larger pieces will become available.

We are quarriers and fabricators. It is the responsibility of the architect or installation contractor to specify how the stone will be anchored and installed. Specification of type, size, quantity, placement, and spacing of anchoring system and any unique edge details of anchoring size must be provided by the customer. The contractor is accountable for obtaining field verification and architect approval of shop drawings for production. If required by the authority having jurisdiction, the installer is responsible for submitting calculations that bear the seal of a professional engineer licensed in the state where the project is located for the adequacy of stone and anchoring system.
